VeridiumAD was Named “Innovative Tech of the Year: Security”
Boston, MA – September 15, 2017 – Veridium, a leader in “strong authentication” solutions using biometrics instead of passwords, PINs, and tokens, announced today that the company’s VeridiumAD solution was named “Innovative Tech of the Year: Security” at the 20th Annual Mass Technology Leadership Awards Gala on September 14. The Mass Technology Leadership Awards – hosted by the Mass Technology Leadership Council, Massachusetts’ largest technology trade association – celebrate the people and companies shaping the Massachusetts technology economy.
Veridium was honored for VeridiumAD, an enterprise solution that adds biometric authentication to Microsoft Active Directory environments. VeridiumAD increases security, streamlines login processes, and reduces the costs and lost productivity caused by stolen or forgotten tokens and passwords. It can be deployed to eliminate traditional passwords altogether, or to replace expensive tokens by using biometrics as a second factor.
